It was time....past time, really...I should have done it yesterday. I have been putting the miles on my Volpe on the track stand in our basement for over a month now. Yesterday was nice. Today was nicer. I had to get out and ride.
I went over to Rum River Central Park, the closest and my favorite place for exercise rides. You could hear the newly returned red-winged blackbirds and Sand Hill Cranes. The sun was bright, the temperatures moving above 60. Sure, there was still snow, ice and water on the trails, so for the most part I rode on the park roads. Used my trustee digi to snap a picture, too. (See the snow still in the background?) It was a beautiful ride. A beautiful day. Really great to be riding through the scenery, rather than watching it go by on a DVD screen.
What are you waiting for? Get out and RIDE!
Proceeding on...
